This privacy statement applies to the processing of personal data by Manometric B.V. located at Loire 14 in The Hagua and registered in the Chamber of Commerce under number 71335420.
Manometric considers the protection of personal data very important. Personal data is data about an identified or identifiable natural person. This is all data that says something about you and/or can be traced back to you as a person. In order to provide you with the best possible service, Manometric processes your personal data.
Personal data that we process
Manometric processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide them to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data that we process:
- your name, address and place of residence
- your social security number (BSN)
- your date of birth
- your contact details (such as your email address and/or your telephone number)
- your bank and payment details
- your data about your health
- data about your activities on our website
We need this information to be able to meet your healthcare demand, to ensure that the (financial) administration is handled correctly and to maintain contact with you in connection with aftercare and control. We also process your personal data for sending our newsletter, to inform you about changes to our services and products and to carry out customer satisfaction surveys. Manometric also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so.
Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
We receive data about your health. We receive this medical information directly from you. But also if there is a referral from your general practitioner, physiotherapist, institution or hospital. We handle data about your health with extra care. We use this information to determine what care you need. To the extent necessary, data about your health is also used for checks by your health insurer, cooperation in fraud investigations and analyses for healthcare procurement and risk management.
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without that permission, please contact us via our contact details at the bottom of this page and we will delete this information.
How long we keep personal data
Manometric does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data is collected. Exceptions to this are the data that we have to keep for longer because the law obliges us to do so. The tax law states that we must keep your data for seven years. So we also use that term.
Sharing personal data with third parties
We exchange your data securely with health insurers and care offices, among others. We may also ask you whether you would like to cooperate with customer satisfaction surveys and whether you would like to make your data available to a third party for this purpose. Manometric does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. When we provide your data to a third party, who is not a healthcare provider, we ensure (with an agreement) that your data is not used for improper purposes. We also agree that your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer needed.

To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and social security number (BSN) black in this copy.
